Love It's Means for You Baby So Love Me Just Love Me Lyrics

Picture this: Yous've orchestrated the perfect at-dwelling house engagement for your significant other, featuring candles, wine, and a lovingly home-cooked (or lovingly ordered via app) dinner. But just as your person texts you that they're on their way, y'all realize that you have no idea what sort of music to play to retain the romantic ambience. After all, you can't have your early on 2000s guilty pleasure songs come up on shuffle while yous're trying to stare lovingly into your partner's eyes (nothing ruins the mood like the distinctive "youuuuuu" at the beginning of "Soulja Boy." And yes, that example is based on a truthful story).

Anyhow, I've got you covered with my list of the well-nigh beautiful, hopeful, and achingly romantic songs ever written (in my humble opinion). You lot'll have your shell/partner/Bumble date swooning.

"ROS" - Mac Miller

Most romantic lyrics: "I'm in your middle, I'm in your dream/ So fuck the world it's you and me"

Rationale: When the outside earth becomes brutal, many couples turn inward and develop that u.s.-against-the-globe mindset. In "ROS," Mac Miller captures what it's like to experience close to someone, spending much of this song describing the little things he loves about his partner, similar her "stained glass" eyes, butterscotch-scented skin, and kiwi-flavored lips. The lyrics are intimate in every manner, and Mac delivers them with his feature rawness.

"These Arms of Mine" - Otis Redding

Most romantic lyrics: "These arms of mine, they are lonely/ Lonely and feeling blue/ These artillery of mine, they are yearning/ Yearning from wanting you"

Rationale: This song hits me right in the chest. It'southward impossible non to feel your arms and chest aching similar Reddings' when he sings most burning to concur his lover. The music crescendos around his smooth phonation as he begs,  "And if you would let them hold you lot/ Oh, how grateful I would exist." Information technology'due south such a sweetness, earnest plea for honey, and its focus on physicality is pretty sexy, too.

"Ex Factor" - Lauryn Hill

Most romantic lyrics: "Encounter, no 1 loves y'all more than me/ and no ane always will"

Rationale: No one knows how to obliterate me emotionally quite similar Lauryn Colina does. In "Ex Factor" (and on this whole album, let's be existent), she's vulnerable, baring all her devotion to her fellow. We recognize straightaway that her human relationship is toxic, just Hill'south honesty is and so beautiful that we apprehensive listeners take no option but to sit, transfixed, and mind.

"Skinny Beloved" - Bon Iver

Most romantic lyrics: "Told my love to wreck it all/ Cut out all the ropes and let me fall"

Rationale: When this vocal came out in 2007, I was in middle school. I could not end singing it as I traipsed through my house, about-tears as I crooned virtually "the sink of blood and crushed veneer," equally though my twelve years on earth had been rife with tragic love affairs.

Nevertheless, this song all the same holds upwardly. Bon Iver is a master at depicting what it'due south similar to fully surrender yourself to someone while enlightened that they may injure y'all in the cease. I still sing this vocal while I lounge effectually my little studio apartment, cartoon on real-life experiences this time, though I clinch yous that none of them involved blood-filled sinks or crushed veneers.

"Leather and Lace" - Stevie Nicks & Don Henley

Most romantic lyrics: "Lovers forever, confront to face/ My city, your mountains/ Stay with me, stay/ I need you to love me/ I need you today/ Requite me to me your leather, take from me my lace"

Rationale: This is Stevie Nicks' lyricism at its nearly poignant. She wrote "Leather and Lace" herself and and then performed it with Don Henley (of The Eagles) while they were dating. This duet is cute in and of itself, but their chemistry and passion for each other makes it all the more than impactful. An ex played this for me once, unprompted, and I recollect thinking, My God, dude. Why would you do this to me?

Wrecked.

The Style Y'all Expect This evening" - Frank Sinatra

Nearly romantic lyrics: "Lovely, never, never modify/ proceed that breathless amuse/ won't you please arrange it?/ 'Cause I love you/ Just the style you look tonight"

Rationale: Ah, yes. The song that plays at every hymeneals on globe. Popular songs are popular for a reason, though, and this one endures because of the accepting, unconditional sort of honey that it depicts. In add-on to Sinatra's version, I'm also partial to Fred Astaire'due south rendition in the 1936 film Swing Fourth dimension and the sweet yet natural language-in-cheek visuals go along with it.

"Everlasting Light" - The Black Keys

Most romantic lyrics: "Permit me exist your everlasting light/ Your train going abroad from hurting/ Honey is the coal that makes this train roll/ Let me be your everlasting light"

Rationale: If you read the lyrics without the music, the whole vocal sounds kind of like a late nineteenth century poem. The dear in this song is so pure and hopeful, and you'll definitely gain cool-points by playing The Black Keys on a first date.

"To Know Him Is To Love Him" - Amy Winehouse

Most romantic lyrics: "To know, know, know him/ Is to dear, love, dearest him/ Just to see that smile/ Makes my life worthwhile"

Rationale: No one does unbridled love like Amy Winehouse. Her soulful vocalism takes center stage in this Phil Spector cover, and if yous're not already in love, it will brand you desire to be.

"Like Real People Do" - Hozier

Most romantic lyrics: "I will non ask you where you came from/ I will not enquire you, neither should you/ Dearest, merely put your sweet lips on my lips/ We should just kiss like real people do"

Rationale: Here, Hozier is trying to convince his love interest to forget that they both have pasts (who doesn't?) and to only honey him. There's a sense that both people in the song consider themselves odd in some mode (again, who doesn't?), and that they've been searching for partners like each other for ages. "Like Real People Do" reminds the states of how miraculous information technology feels to honey and exist loved back.

"Can't Take My Eyes Off Y'all" - Franki Valli & The Iv Seasons

Nearly romantic lyrics: "You're just too proficient to be true/ Can't take my eyes off of y'all/ You lot'd be similar heaven to touch/ I wanna hold you so much"

Rationale: To quote every Boomer from my habitation country of New Jersey: They just don't make 'em similar this anymore. And information technology's true―this song manages to residuum emotional and sexual yearning without being rough.

And only... the gratitude Valli feels when he sings about loving his girl so much that he thanks God he'south alive. My Lord. They really but do not make 'em quite similar this anymore.

"Forrest Gump" - Frank Ocean

Almost romantic lyrics: "My fingertips and my lips/ They burn from the cigarettes/ Forrest Gump, you run my mind, male child/ Running on my mind, boy"

Rationale: This is Frank Ocean's most criminally underrated song and I volition fight anyone who has anything negative to say about it. In fact, I one time fabricated a very loud, spirited defense of this song when I was in loftier school, right after Ocean'south ill-received performance of it at the 2013 Grammys.

The song is told from the perspective of Jenny in the 1994 film Forrest Gump. It'south nigh a cleaved, tired person coming back to their pure, enduring love after a great deal of time has passed. It'due south especially meaningful, in my opinion, because Body of water penned the song in the wake of his very public coming-out.

"Take Me The Way I Am" - Ingrid Michaelson

Nigh romantic lyrics: "'Cause I dear y'all more than than I could ever promise/ And you take me the way I am"

Rationale: What a throwback! Ingrid Michaelson was responsible for some of the sweetest manic-pixie-dream-girl honey songs of the early 2000s, and this 1 was her most popular. Michaelson rejoices in having constitute a partner who loves her, flaws and all, and she responds in kind, promising to repair what her partner breaks and purchase him Rogaine when his hair starts falling out. It's a promise to love someone forever.

"I'thou Not Expressionless" - P!nk

Almost romantic lyrics: "Right beyond the cigarette and the devilish smiling/You're my cleft of sunlight/ Yous tin do the math a thousand ways/ But you can't erase the facts/ That others come up and others go/ Just you e'er come up back"

Rationale: This is my favorite era of P!nk'southward music. In "I'm Non Dead," she writes a frank, unapologetic love vocal nearly being a flawed homo deeply in honey with another flawed human. Waxing poetic about her and her young man's (her hereafter husband, Cary Hart, past the way) tattoos and alluding to her own mental illness, P!nk eschews all tired clichés about love in favor of something far more authentic and affecting.

"Hannah Hunt" - Vampire Weekend

Most romantic lyrics: "A human of faith said subconscious eyes could come across what I was thinkin'/ I just smiled and told him/ That was simply true of Hannah"

Rationale: Oh, Ezra Koenig, how you wound me with your beautiful words! In this song, our narrator seems to be moving around the U.South. with his love Hannah until she grows homesick for the due east declension. Having lived in New England for around seven years, I'm partial to this song for its "freezing beaches" references, but it's also a gentle tribute to the manner time glides abroad when you're with someone you love.

"A Song For You" - Donny Hathaway

Most romantic lyrics: "I love you in a place/ Where at that place's no infinite or time/ I honey yous for my life/ You're a friend of mine/ And when my life is over/ Remember when we were together"

Rationale: There accept been many versions of this song, only this one's my favorite. It was also Amy Winehouse's favorite. Donny Hathaway sings this with such feeling that one can't aid but feel he'southward reciting a memoir when he sings his amends to a woman he neglected to settle downwards with because he was too busy performing around the globe.

"Maps" - Yep Yeah Yeahs

Most romantic lyrics: "Don't stray/ My kind's your kind/ I'll stay the same."

Rationale: Yes, this song is ninety percent just Karen O singing "Wait, they don't beloved you like I beloved you lot," only it's so powerful! If yous say something the correct fashion, and the accompanying music is skillful enough, there'due south no need to embellish much more than. Proof: Beyoncé clearly nods to this song in her 2016 single "Hold Upward." "Maps" endures, over a decade later, across genres.

"If I Ain't Got Yous" - Alicia Keys

Most romantic lyrics: "Some people want diamond rings/ Some just want everything/ But everything means nothing/ If I ain't got you"

Rationale: This song is all the more touching when you recall that she wrote it just as she was beginning to get famous. She promises that her renown―the fruit of all her labor―along with promises of riches, jewelry, or endless life would all mean nothing if she didn't have her man.

"Pine Tree Lines" - Told Camber

Almost romantic lines: "I am the girl my parents made/ Why don't you dear me anyway/ 'Cause I love the style you have up space"

Rationale: Devastating genius. Lead vocalist Felix Walworth delivers this song so earnestly that his vocalization literally cracks during that last line. I've never heard a simpler or more startlingly accurate depiction of adoration than loving the way someone takes upwards space.

"Inevitable" - Shakira

Most romantic lyrics: "To be even more honest/ No i thinks almost you/ The way I practice" (Translated from Spanish)

Rationale: Shakira spends most of this vocal laying out all her imperfections―that she doesn't know how to make coffee, that she doesn't empathise soccer, that she oversleeps, etc.―and and then proceeds to inquire her man to love her anyway.

"I Found You" - Alabama Shakes

Most romantic lyrics: "I think all them lonely days/ I traveled out on my ain/ Then you brought me everything/ You made my house a home"

Rationale: This is a celebration of finally finding your person. So who better to heed to it with than your person? Romantic, indeed.

"Rag Doll" - Franki Valli & The Four Seasons

Nearly romantic lines: "I'd change her sad rags/ Into glad rags if I could/ My folks won't let me/ 'Cause they say that she'southward no proficient."

Rationale: Another Four Seasons song, yes. I'thou from Jersey. Sue me.

Franki Valli declares his unconditional dear for a girl much poorer than he is, fantasizing nigh replacing her tattered apparel with lace and finery. In spite of her poverty, he ends the song past crying, "I beloved you just the mode you are."

He wants to requite everything to someone who tin can offer him nothing material. All he wants is her.

"Since I've Been Loving You" - Led Zeppelin

Most romantic lyrics: "But babe, since I've been loving you, yeah/ I'm about to lose my worried mind/ Oh, yeah"

Rationale: Human, these lyrics look so underwhelming when written down sans musical accompaniment. It's tragic.

What makes this song and then romantic, to me, is the organ and bass work past John Paul Jones pair with Robert Establish'due south searing vocals. Information technology'south a ability blues vocal that hits y'all right in the gut. If drastic desire were a sound, this would exist it.

"You Got Me" - Erykah Badu and The Roots

Well-nigh romantic lines: "If you don't worry 'bout where/ I been or who I saw  or/ What club I went to with my homies/ Baby, don't worry, you know that you got me"

Rationale: I cried when I saw this live. Erykah reassures her boyfriend during the chorus that she'll ever be loyal to him, while Black Idea (lead MC of The Roots) uses his verses to tell the story of a lifelong romance. It'southward the best love song in hip hop, hands downward.

"(You Brand Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman - Aretha Franklin

Most romantic lyrics: "When my soul was in the lost and found/ Y'all came along to claim it/ I didn't know simply what was wrong with me/ 'Til your kiss helped me proper name it"

Rationale: We should heal ourselves rather than await around for someone to heal united states of america, merely that doesn't mean that love can't be a healing experience. It's really romantic to thank someone for making you feel adept, and that'south precisely what this vocal (written by the flawless Carole King) is about.

"Jade" - Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros

Most romantic lyrics: "Nosotros can't assist but follow, she's Buddha, simply watch her/ She moves similar an onetime gypsy woman but swears she'south a girl/ And all that she asks we'll allow her/ For Jade is the girl of the hour"

Rationale: Alex Ebert wrote this vocal for Jade Castrinos when they were both still dating and still the frontpeople of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. The song is a quiet dearest letter of the alphabet to Castrinos―you could imagine Ebert singing it to her at nighttime past the bivouac while the rest of the band is asleep (that's this band'due south vibe, really). It'southward a shame that we no longer get to scout the sweet relationship between these talented musicians, but at least we'll ever have this hippie honey song.

"Wild Horses" - The Rolling Stones

Most romantic lyrics: "Graceless lady/ Yous know who I am/ You know I tin can't permit y'all/ Slide through my easily/ Wild horses/ Couldn't drag me away"

Rationale: One of the wildest bands of the '60s and '70s likewise happened to write one of the most poignant songs about beloved and devotion. This is about a long, deep intimacy between 2 people, and of beingness physically unable to resist the person y'all admire.

"Jim Bogart" - The Front Bottoms

Well-nigh romantic lyrics: "I would sleep better on your floor/ Than I would always in my bed/ And if your carpet makes my face up crawling/ It'd still be heaven in my head"

Rationale: "Jim Bogart" opens with the above lyrics, sung with lead vocalist Brian Sella's signature raw vocals. He abandons all pride in his love for this girl, promising to practice his guitar every night, to sleep on her floor without complaint, and to to ignore his physician's communication―all to win her love. We shouldn't have to debase ourselves for beloved (*rolls eyes* yeah, yeah yeah), only this is art. And if nosotros're being honest, this sentiment is relatable for anyone who's prayed for their love to be reciprocated.

"Loving You lot" - Elvis Presley

Most romantic lyrics: "If I'm seen with someone new/ Don't be blue, don't you be blue/ I'll be faithful, I'll be true/ Always true, true to you"

Rationale: Elvis tells his dearest not to get jealous or to believe the hype around him and other women, reassuring her that she's the one for him. Although multiple sources have claimed that Elvis did, indeed, cheat on his wife, Priscilla, this remains his sweetest love song.

"Melissa" - The Allman Brothers Band

Well-nigh romantic lyrics: "Knowing many, loving none/ Bearin' sorrow, havin' fun/ But back dwelling house he'll e'er run/ To sweet Melissa"

Rationale: Here, the Allman Brothers sing about a traveling musician who can't get over his sweetheart no matter how many other women he meets. She always ends up resurfacing in his mind, and eventually, he always returns to her.

"My Sometime Man" - Joni Mitchell

Well-nigh romantic lyrics: "He'due south my sunshine in the morning/ He'southward my fireworks at the end of the day/ He's the warmest chord I e'er head/ Play that warm chord, play and stay, baby"

Rationale: Mitchell's soaring mezzo-soprano meanders through a portrait of her relationship in this vocal, insisting throughout that, "We don't need no piece of paper from the city hall." She's saying that she doesn't need external validation of the relationship―this human gives her all she needs to feel secure in their bond.

"Devil In a New Dress" - Kanye West, Rick Ross

Virtually romantic lyrics: "Put your hands to the constellations/ The style you await should be a sin, yous my awareness"

Rationale: Kanye West is a pretty polarizing figure, just this is still 1 of my favorite albums of all fourth dimension. It's a bittersweet tribute to his infamous relationship with Amber Rose, and this song encapsulates the oftentimes-sexy, ever-complicated connection between 2 people who aren't good for each other, yet can't stay abroad from i some other.

"Love of My Life (An Ode to Hip Hop)" - Erykah Badu, Common

Most romantic lyrics: "But that is all backside me/ 'Crusade at present there is no other/ My love is his and his is mine/ A friend became the/ Love of my life"

Rationale: Conventional advice tells usa to autumn in honey with someone who can be our  friend, too. This song is nearly ii lifelong best friends who notice their way dorsum to each other after fourth dimension spent apart. With her famously beguiling voice, Erykah Badu captures the joy of being truly known by one's partner.

"A Sun Kind of Love" - Etta James

Virtually romantic lyrics: "I desire a Sunday kind of beloved/ A dearest to final by Saturday night/ I want to know information technology's more than love at first sight"

Rationale: We've all been at this betoken before. If Etta James were to have written this song today, she would accept been explaining that she was sick of one-night-stands and Tinder/Bumble/Hinge dates that go nowhere. She'd be saying she was tired of sweaty strangers in bars shouting into her ear, over deafening music, asking if she wants to take a shot.

Instead, she'd want something substantial. Someone to relax and rampage Schitt'southward Creek reruns with on the weekends.

May we all detect that Sun kind love.

"Baby I'one thousand Yours" - Arctic Monkeys

Nearly romantic lyrics: "Baby, I'm yours/ And I'll be yours until the stars fall from the sky/ Yours until the rivers all run dry/ In other words, until I die"

Rationale: This song sounds similar information technology was written in the '50s or '60s. In some ways, it's your run-of-the-manufacturing plant tiresome song, but there's something mannerly nearly the Arctic Monkeys being the ones to perform this retro pledge of devotion.

"She Volition Exist Loved" - Maroon 5

Most romantic lyrics:"I don't mind spendin' everyday / Out on your corner in the pourin' rain"

Rationale:I remember listening to this song in eye school, wishing that the boy I had a crush on would love me enough to stand outside my window in the rain. In retrospect, that would have been awkward and inconvenient to explain to my female parent, and these days I would probably find such beliefs creepy (when I'm in my pajamas in my apartment, peacefully eating Takis and watching The Sopranos, the last thing I need is a man continuing outside, watching me from the street like something out of The Exorcist), but the sentiment of this song still stands.

"Because the Dark" - Patti Smith

Most romantic lyrics: "Come up on, now, attempt and sympathise/ The fashion I feel when I'm in your easily/ Accept my hand, come undercover/ They can't hurt y'all now"

Rationale: In this vocal, which was originally written past lyrical legend Bruce Springsteen, Smith promises her lover that he's safety with her. If you've read Smith's book Just Kids, yous'll probably listen to this song and think of her and Robert Mapplethorpe singing and dancing to it down the streets of lower Manhattan.

"La Vie En Rose" - Edith Piaf

Nearly romantic lyrics: "When he holds me in his arms/ And he speaks to me softly/ I see the world through rose-colored glasses" (Translated from French)

Rationale: You definitely know this vocal. It's the go-to for every romantic scene in every American motion-picture show about France. And, granted, it's a great pick for a dinner date, especially if you desire to get a fiddling dull dancing started.

"Someday" - The Growlers

Virtually romantic lyrics: "But stay for one more night/ One day y'all're gonna be my wife/ Y'all'll never accept to worry once more/ I'm gonna be your man"

Rationale: It sounds lead vocalist Brooks Nielsen'southward now-wife was getting really ill of his bullshit, and that he wrote this vocal equally a plea to get her to say. Information technology's poetic, energetic, and hopeful, and it would accept worked on me, too, tbh.

"Wouldn't It Exist Nice" - The Beach Boys

Most romantic lyrics: "Wouldn't information technology be nice if nosotros were older?/ And then we wouldn't have to wait so long"

Rationale: This is sung from the perspective of someone who'southward already certain almost who he wants to spend the rest of his life with. And he'southward wishing that the residuum of his life could start right now.

"Stay" - Rihanna, Mikky Ekko

Virtually romantic lyrics: "Not really sure how to experience nearly it/ Somethin' in the way you move/ Makes me experience like I can't live without you"

Rationale: Love isn't a formula. There's no existent logic to why we fall in love with some people but not others, and Rihanna hits the nail on the head when she says it's only "something in the way [he] motion[south]." It's reminiscent of The Beatles' song "Something." Speaking of which...

"Something" - The Beatles

Most romantic lyrics: "Something in the way she moves / Attracts me like no other lover / Something in the way she woos me / I don't want to leave her at present"

Rationale:This song is a tedious, dreamy ode on an otherwise bluesy album. George Harrison was the Beatle who penned information technology, writing that he wasn't certain what exactly triggered his honey or whether it would grow.  All he knew was that the love was there, and that that should exist enough.

"Androgynous" - The Replacements

Most romantic lyrics: "And they beloved each other so/ Androgynous/ Closer than we know, dear each other so/ Androgynous"

Rationale: This song is almost ii not-binary people falling in love, which is pretty cool for a song from 1984. Our main characters, archetypically named Dick and Jane, love each other regardless of gender. The Replacements brand a compelling argument about why traditional gender roles and habiliment should brand no difference if you're truly in dearest with someone.

"I'll Exist Seeing You lot" - Billie Holiday

Most romantic lyrics: "I'll find you lot in the morning sun/ In every lovely summer'due south day/ In everything that's right and gay/ I'll always recall of you lot"

Rationale: Yous know when you're freshly in beloved (or heartbroken), and everything reminds you of that person? That'due south what this song is most. Everything around Holiday―the natural globe, a park, a buffet, a carousel―is a fond reminder of her dearest.

"Sunday Candy" - Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment

Most romantic lyrics: "You've got to movement it slowly/ Take it in my torso like information technology'south holy/ I've been waiting for you lot for the whole week/ I've been praying for yous, you're my Sunday candy"

Rationale: The Social Experiment is the hip hop collective that boasts members such every bit Take chances the Rapper and Vic Mensa (the onetime of which is featured heavily on this song). Jamila Woods performs the chorus to this song so sweetly that it'due south easy to forget the sexual implications, and she and Chance tell the story of a couple that spends a week at a time missing each other, captivated in thoughts of 1 another until they're finally reunited.

"Come Every bit You Are" - Nirvana

Nigh romantic lyrics: "Come as you are/ As you lot were/ As I desire you lot to be"

Rationale: There are many interpretations of what this song means, ranging from mental health to friendship to commentary on inauthenticity. But, to me, "Come up As You Are" works as the ultimate grunge honey song; as a promise to beloved and appreciate someone just the way they are.

"Please, Delight, Please" - James Chocolate-brown

Most romantic lyrics: "Babe please, baby please, please me/ Babe please, babe delight don't go/ Don't go, I said infant, don't baby/ I beloved yous so"

Rationale: This song is nigh entirely comprised of James Chocolate-brown repeating "please," and, supposedly, he got a lot of flack from his producers about that earlier its release. But, like the Yeah Yep Yeahs' "Maps," this rail'south magic lies in the passion with which it's delivered–and James Brown is nothing if not passionate.

"I Will E'er Love You" - Dolly Parton

Most romantic lyrics: "And I promise life will care for you lot kind/ And I promise that you have all/ That yous e'er dreamed of/ Oh, I do wish you joy/ And I wish you happiness/ But in a higher place all this/ I wish you love"

Rationale: Without a doubt, you lot're familiar with Whitney Houston'due south rendition of "I Will E'er Love Y'all," simply I love Dolly Parton's soft-spoken, country version besides. Where Houston belts, Parton croons, making this a great culling for when you want to hear this song on a serenity evening in.

 "Songbird" - Fleetwood Mac

Near romantic lyrics: "And I wish you all the dearest in the world/ But near of all, I wish information technology from myself/ And the songbirds go along singing/ Similar they know the score"

Rationale: Fleetwood Mac's members were notorious for hooking up within their ranks, and Christine McVie (author and principal vocaliser on this song) was no exception. This is a unique dearest song, because it does unconditional dear unlike whatever other: It illustrates how it's entirely possible to dearest someone and want the all-time for them while accepting, albeit sadly, that you lot might non exist that best thing.

"First Day of My Life" - Bright Optics

Most romantic lyrics: "Just I realized I demand yous/ And I wondered if I could come home"

Rationale: This Bright Optics rails makes me wish I was better at playing guitar. Frontman Conor Oberst makes a frank plea for his beloved, telling her, "I'one thousand glad I didn't die before I met you," and request for permission to approach. Information technology's an exercise in startling honesty, and the outcome, like the whole anthology, is profound.

"Body of water of Love" - Cat Power

Most romantic lyrics: "Come up with me, my love/ To the sea, the ocean of honey/ I wanna tell you/ How much I honey you "

Rationale: Originally, the last vocal on this list was going to be T.I.'south "Whatever You Like" because I'm determined that information technology will play at my nuptials 1 twenty-four hours (I'g not kidding), but "Sea of Love" is as well romantic to laissez passer up. With minimal instrumentation, True cat Power delivers a cursory only heartfelt dearest letter whose genius lies in its profound simplicity. 10/10.
